Fun, Food, Cards and Friends

I hosted my first Stampin' Up Party on Saturday.

Oh what fun it was! Mom invited me to a Stamp Camp back in September of last year and I had a blast. So of my favorite gals showed up (including Miss Kathryn who ended up leaving our house after midnight, going to work at 7am and still found the energy to come) and we made a Valentine's card and gift holder. I made chocolate dipped strawberries and small cheese cakes (which didn't turn out very well and I can correct my mistakes for next time). Then I bought pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels and roll-o's. Despite my cheese cake mess, the snacks turned out well. Beth, who was our demonstrator, was such a sweetheart and did a good job- as always. I can't wait to host a Stamp Camp!

Eric also did an awesome job of babysitting the kids. I didn't hear a peep out of them from the back room. I wish I could have captured some of the moments I peeked my head in. Eric built a little tent for Luke to sleep in and had a girl tucked under each arm snuggled up in bed. I'm sorry Grandma was still sick and they had to stay here, but I think Daddy did just fine.
