Proverbs 24:3-4

Kaitlyn's Way

The Lord has a greater plan for our family.
We have had to reschedule our court date to finalize the adoption
due to some of Kaitlyn's medical records.
Our attorney, Rebecca, was so very kind and apologized for things beyond her control.
We are hoping for another date sometime in June.
The paperwork just has to work its way through the channels.

Eric and I are okay with this.
I think that if I were waiting to hold my daughter I would not be okay,
but because I can tuck her in at night, I am okay.

"Bibby Fair" Day

Every year at school they have a fundraiser at the end of the year and have an Eagle Fair.
It works just like the county fair- buy tickets, don't have enough tickets, kids cry and Mommy feels like crap.
So with Eric gone working on the cow fence at the Guiney's,
I was NOT about to brave the Eagle Fair alone.
I broke the news to Luke that we were not going to the Eagle Fair, which was met with tears and much disappointment.
As my son's world came to an end, I came up with this:

Ring Toss

Buddy Race

Kait and her ribbons

Arts and Crafts

The Bibby Fair ended with a treasure hunt.
They had to follow clues from place to place...

"Your prize is found where you lay your head after the sun goes down."

All about Little Miss

Kayla's Preschool Spring Program was a milestone for me just as Luke's was.
She cracked me up by yawning during her least favorite songs and belting out her favorites hand motions and all.
So grown up with her hair all done and pink polka dot dress.
Lovely little stink pot!

Mother's Day 2010

Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

Proverbs 31:28

This was my gift from Eric and the kids this year.
Eric picked up the canvas and painted the puzzle pieces.
I can't imagine what his evening must have been like trying to get all eight of their hands just right..... what a man!
