Proverbs 24:3-4

Somewhere along the way

The Marlins played and the Bibby's first Tball season
Daddy coached and Mommy swooned.
Brother finished up the season with a home run hit over 3rd base, and
three perfect throws from 3rd to 1st!

Gotcha Day

Psalm 100
A Psalm for giving thanks.

1Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
and His courts with praise!
Give thanks to Him; bless His name!

5 For the LORD is good;
His steadfast love endures forever,

5 For the LORD is good;
His steadfast love endures forever,
and His faithfulness to all generations.

Kait got her first Vera Bradley from Grandma and Grandpa.
Her suitcase for her overnights and purse.
Now she's officially a Bibby granddaughter!

Farmer Bibby?

Got COW?
We do!

The discussion went a little something like this:
Eric: We getting cows.
Me: Ummm, nope.
Eric: What if I keep them at Derrick's?
Me: MOO!

So these are our cows.
The boys built the fence.
We took the kiddos out to see them.
Even at their young age they already weigh 500 lbs.

We all pulled on our muck boots and headed out to pasture.

Eric and I put the gate on.

Mr. Derrick got the little tractor out and everyone went for a ride.

Even Mommy... HA!

June Days

June Days went by...

Wednesdays are library days.

Daddy went away for a week for work.
We missed him.

Nana came for a visit.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for Father's Day lunch.

We went to the park with Nana and Aunt Jeanna.

We had two court dates, two baptism dates and two adoption party dates.
We canceled two court dates and thus the others followed.
We prayed and waited to make Kaitlyn officially a Bibby.

SUM SUM SUMMERTIME

First Fruit

Our first Strawberries.
We started with about 8-10 plants from a neighbor up the street who had weeded out her patch.

Smile 2010

The first day of school you were so shy and I was in tears about ready to cry.
You held my hand and together we opened the door for Kindergarten.
I watched you struggle to read and teared again, as you succeeded and over-achieved.
I listened to your excitement at the new things you learned, like when you counted your money.
I listened to your sadness when someone wouldn't be your friend and I prayed for healing and your heart to mend.
I remember when you got your colored changed and praised you when you were green.
I thanked the Lord when you cried because a little boy had been left behind at pick up,
your soft heart, clearly seen.
When I asked you to choose your favorite award,
you chose Bible Verse Memory "because it's reading what God said and it's about God. I love God."
How you have grown and changed from Preschool to Kindergarten!

I love you because you are you...
and now YOU are moving to First Grade.
