I am so sorry that in the midst of the most joyous season of all, your heart is heavy with this loss!

It has probably been said before, I'm sure it has, but as hard as it is to not be able to attend the funeral~we can praise and thank God that this will not be the last time you will be united with your grandmother. If she were not of the faith, one last glimpse would be so much more important-but the next time you see her...she will have the shinest of eyes, the most radiant of faces, and PURE joy. No longer will she be feeble, no longer twisted in pain...

Perhaps if you focus on those things, the pain might sting less.

I am so sorry for your grief. The grief we feel is for ourselves, sadness that we will never see our loved ones again. But don't grieve for HER, Jean Marie, I'm sure she wouldn't want you to do that...because right now, she is in the arms of our Lord and I am certain that being wrapped in His Glory is right where she WANTS to be. There she is safe, comforted, loved, and complete.

I will pray that the Lord bring you the comfort you so need and long for...I'm so sorry for your loss Jean.

Love you.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17983592950942904914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5179755382722294882.post-6954658705415439672008-12-29T12:02:00.000-05:002008-12-29T12:02:00.000-05:00Jean Marie,You will be in my prayers. Your grandmother sounds like a great woman, obviously an inspiration to you! May you find peace in knowing that you will be reunited with her perfect self, in the most perfect place, in HIS perfect timing. We know your grandma’s path is a path we are all heading down… we just hope and pray we are ready at the end… which your grandma was. I am sure you are thankful for her faith in Christ. She has no more pain; she is now in glory able to praise our Lord more fully than ever before. We are sorry that you are not able to attend the funeral... maybe it will be apparent why later. Just remember that you are loved… by the Lord and the people that He has put into your life. Reflect on the wonderful memories that you have of your grandma… think of those pleasant things every time people say your name… since part of it is her name as well. We pray for comfort in your time of need… a comfort we can only have through Christ (Matt. 5:4).

Love,

Dad (Bibby)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5179755382722294882.post-57045252163060905432008-12-29T07:02:00.000-05:002008-12-29T07:02:00.000-05:00I'm so sorry for your loss, and that you aren't ab...I'm so sorry for your loss, and that you aren't able to be there...Thankfully God is good, and someday you will be with her again. That is one of my fears being so far away from home and i can very much relate w/ how hard it can be to find comfort in His plan sometimes. He is the great comforter though so lean on him to find the strength you need right now and know that I am praying for you.

Your Grandma sounds like an amazing woman....may God wrap your whole family in His arms through your grief. ::::Hugs::::Aubshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07128343996772930458noreply@blogger.com
